Seed(s)

Job 30, Psalm 120, Galatians 3-4

Galatians 3:16, 29

16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,”[g] meaning one person, who is Christ.

29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Please, someone explain to me why Paul can say in v.16 that “seed” is singular and refers to only one person, and in v.29 he can say that “seed” is plural, and refers to all of the Christians in the world. I need to get some reasoned commentaries to study on this.
